Job Summary

Child Studies Assistant will help with basic organization and upkeep of office, resource center, and the ECE Classroom.  The assistant may also provide basic customer service to students using the resource center. 

Essential Functions
  • Restock and organize office and resource center materials 
  • Assist staff and instructors with photocopying and filing 
  • Inventory resource center and child studies educational materials 
  • Help organize child studies documents, magazines, and books 
  • Direct students and visitors to appropriate staff and/or instructor 
  • Guide students to the location of specific resource center materials 
  • Answer resource center phone and take messages 
  • Light cleaning and tidying in office and resource center  
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
