Students visit legislators to deliver unique message
Posted: January 28, 2019
Twenty Bates Technical College students, employees and trustees delivered a sweet message to 24 state legislators and their aides on Thursday, Jan. 24.
The group visited the Capitol with 240 freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies from our Culinary Arts program, wrapped with a message about the important role two-year colleges play in our economy.
This year marks the 26th year that Bates students have visited the State Capitol during session to deliver cookies with a message.
