ASG LeaderMartin Fimbres, ASG President

Hello everyone! My name is Martin Fimbres, I am currently the ASG Vice President at the Central Campus. I am originally from Phoenix, AZ., and have been living in Washington for almost twenty years. I moved here because I got tired of the heat, and wanted to enjoy the different seasons that Washington has to offer. I am half Filipino and half Mexican which makes me a Mexipino. My dad was in the Army and my mom was living in AZ when they met. I am in the IT program at the Central Campus and Fall Quarter 2023 was my first quarter. I’ve worked for a company that contracted with Comcast and was a cable splicer for five years then worked for a year and had the experience to learn how to install Ethernet cables throughout the Seattle metropolitan area. My goal is to be self-sustaining and proactive in the communication environment and make a good living. I’m hoping to make a positive impact on campus with my leadership position and make a huge difference as our ASG team represents the student population. I hope to have fun, to learn, and to grow, but also make a difference on our campus and bring our students a fulfilling environment.
