ASG General Assembly Meeting – Wednesday
The next ASG General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in South Cafeteria from 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM and is open to all students. Free Pizza is available for students.
ASG and Student Life
ASG BBQ – Wednesday, July 25, 2018
Join us July 25, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM for the ASG Summer BBQ. This is in the South Campus Courtyard, is free for all students with ID, and $8 dollars without student ID. There will be jousting, Zorb balls, a DJ, halal burgers, vegetarian hamburgers, hot dogs, face painting, photo booth, shaved ice, and popcorn. There will be free shuttles for students from the Downtown Campus leaving at 10:45 AM and again at 11:30 AM and swinging by Central Campus shortly afterwards. Both shuttles will head back at 1:00 PM. Don’t miss out on all the food and fun!
Paint Beautiful volunteers needed
Since 1985 Associated Ministries has organized volunteer crews to paint the exteriors of houses for more than 2,200 low-income homeowners. Join us this summer to paint 27 houses in the City of Tacoma! HELP IS NEEDED WITH: Power washing, scraping, clean-up, priming, painting, photography, paint crew leaders, running errands, paint advisors, and hospitality. Student Food Pantry – Collecting Donations
The student food pantry is collecting donations. We are looking for individually packaged non-perishable items for lunch bags to feed hungry students. For example, cup of noodles, cup mac and cheese, bottled water, granola bars, individually wrapped crackers, small bags of nuts, jerky and chips. Donations can be delivered to the Downtown Campus ASG office in C301, South Campus ASG/Vet Center B512, High School Office and Library, and Central Campus front desk.
Recovery Club

Sustainability Club
Are you interested in organic gardening? The Sustainability Club meets every Wednesday in the Downtown Campus Cafeteria from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM. For more information, contact Gabriel Montgomery, gmontgomery@bates.ctc.edu.

Counseling
Erin Hayden, LMHC, is available to meet with students for personal counseling. She can help support you in dealing with things like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse. She can also help you learn to cope with academic stress, or with difficult life events like a breakup, illness, or death of a loved one.
