ASG and Student Life
Looking for child care?
Bates’ Early Learning Center, located at the Downtown Campus, is available to students, staff, and community children. The center serves children ages four weeks through five years old, and offers several program models depending on families’ needs. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. The center follows the college calendar for open days.
Early Head Start is a low-cost program for families that qualify for the DSHS Working Connections Child Care Subsidy. ECEAP is a free preschool program for qualifying children ages 3-5 years. ECEAP has two program models: a six-hour, full-day program from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., or an extended-day program outside those hours.

South Campus Student Lounge
South Campus students, did you know there is a student lounge in room B 512 (next to the electrical construction program)? This area is for you to gather, study, play games or do homework. Your ASG Officers from South Campus will also be there to assist you with any questions you might have about the college, ASG, or student life. Please contact us with any questions!

Erin Hayden, LMHC, is available to meet with students for personal counseling. She can help support you in dealing with things like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse. She can also help you learn to cope with academic stress, or with difficult life events like a breakup, illness, or death of a loved one. Did you know the tutor is available 20 hours each week? Monday-Thursday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., and Fridays 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in room A 224 of the Downtown Campus. Cadie can assist you with: math, English, human resources, and social studies; even communications and psychology. She also helps with career building and refining resumes and cover letters.
Student Food Pantry
Sack lunches are available for hungry students. They can be found at the Downtown Campus ASG office in C 301, South Campus ASG/Vet Center B 512, Front desk in building A and Library, and the Advanced Technology Center front desk.
Student Diversity Center
Did you know the Student Diversity Center is open daily from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.? The center also offers resources like: printing, resource shelf, ASG, fridge, microwave and games. There are also vending machines in the Student Lounge, room C 303 downtown.
Multifaith Prayer and Meditation Space
The Multifaith Prayer, Quite Reflection and Meditation Space is right across the hall from the Student Diversity Center. Room C 302 downtown.

Administrative Office Assistant Club
The mission of this club is to provide students the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and execute and event. The club meets every other Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in room C 317 downtown. For more information, contact Jessica Paterson, email@example.com.
The mission of this club is to advance the Dental Lab Program to align with industry innovations in CAD and to create a better understanding of Digital Restorative Dentistry. Black Student Union Club
The mission of this club is to focus on student empowerment, academic excellence and leadership while creating overall positive perceptions of students of color. The mission of this club is to create a cohesive, creative and compassionate club that reflects the values of occupational therapy in the classroom and beyond.
