The next ASG General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Downtown Campus Auditorium from 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM. Pizza is available for participants.

Corrections to College: Legal Help and Support Workshop – Thursday

Have you been touched by the justice system?  You’re not alone!  Stop by our Corrections to College Legal Help and Support workshop on November 16, from 11:15-12:15, Downtown Campus RM A222 to learn what to do next. Evergreen Empowerment will talk about record expungement, LFO reduction, court fines, parenting plans and child support.

All Washington Academic Team Scholarship

More than $500,000 in scholarship dollars will be awarded through these programs, including a NEW scholarship for students planning to enter the workforce after completing an associate degree. Click here to apply now. The deadline for application submissions and nominations is 3:00 pm PT, December 1.  Please review the program details to determine eligibility. Students do not need to be a member of PTK apply to be nominated for the All Washington and All USA Academic Team Scholarships. Non-PTK members should visit ptk.org, select “LOGIN” at the top of the screen, then click the sign up for free access link located on the right side of the page and follow the prompts to create an account. Help available in the library Tuesday and Friday from 1-3.

Counseling

Erin Hayden, LMHC, is available to meet with students for personal counseling. She can help support you in dealing with things like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse. She can also help you learn to cope with academic stress, or with difficult life events like a breakup, illness, or death of a loved one. VA Certifying Official

The VA certifying official/L&I analyst is at South Campus in Room C 104 on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 8 a.m.-Noon.

Removables Club

Come check out what we’re doing with 3Shape design program and our Makerbot 3D printer! Removables Club meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month in our CAD/CAM room: A227.

Sustainability Club

Phi Theta Kappa News

Have a 3.5+ GPA?

If you have earned 12 college level credits, with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above, you may be eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society on campus.  Keep your eyes on your email for an invitation!

Tuition Payment Plan Option

Reduced Cost Dental Clinic

Did you know that Bates has a dental clinic? Located at the Downtown Campus, the clinic is open to private-pay patients and patients (Adults and children) with Apple Health Care. Services include: new patient exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and extractions. All services are at a reduced fee. Open Monday – Thursday, 8 AM — 3 PM.
