THIS WEEK:  General Assembly Meeting – May 20

This month’s General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, May 20 from 11:15am to 12:15pm in the Central Campus broadcast classroom. All students are welcome to attend general assembly meetings. PASSPORT EVENT!

EXTRA, EXTRA!!! ASG Elections are quickly approaching. If you are interested in campaigning for President or one of the three Vice-President positions, please make your intentions known at your earliest convenience and fill out an ASG application. Electronic elections are July 6-8. Please see Campaign Etiquette or ASG staff {Kat Flores or LeMont Lucas} for election guidelines and important dates.

Commencement – Cap and Gowns

Now until commencement [or while supplies last] – students may purchase the cap, gown and tassels for approximately $25 at the downtown Campus Store only. Downtown hours:  Monday and Wednesday 8a-1p [closed 1-130p for lunch] 130-330p. Phone number 253-680-7130.

ASGBQ Volunteers

Join ASG for their annual Student Appreciation Day! On July 21, 2015 from 11am-1pm, students eat free and can enjoy loads of fun activities. Come to the South Campus Plaza, between buildings A and E, and bring a friend or two (up to 2 guests for .50/each). Volunteers are needed to work booths, serve food and work the sign-in table, see Kat Flores, LeMont Lucas or Juliette Kern to get plugged in!

Phi Theta Kappa News

THIS WEEK:  Fun in the Sun

Phi Theta Kappa will be enjoying outdoor activities on May 19, 2015, at 11:30 in the court yard at Bates Downtown Campus. Come enjoy the beautiful sunshine and get to know us. There will be a bean bag toss as well as other activities. We encourage you to bring your lunch and a game.

June 17            Last day to drop a class and not have it appear on your transcript

June18             Last day to drop a class and receive a 40% refund

July 20             Last day to drop a class and have a “W” appear on your transcript

August 13        Last day of summer quarter
