ASG General Assembly Meeting – Wednesday
The next ASG General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, July 19, 2017, in the South Campus auditorium from 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM. Pizza is available for participants.
Foundation Scholarships – Deadline Friday
The Bates Foundation will award up to 34 scholarships totaling $31,000. The application deadline is FRIDAY, July 21 at midnight.
ASG Election Campaigns – Apply by Friday
ASG campaigns for president and the three vice-presidents (one per campus) run through Friday, July 21, 2017.

ASGBQ – Student Appreciation
The Associated Student Government BarbeQue is quickly approaching! On Wednesday, July 26, 2017, from 11am-1pm in the South Campus Plaza. Join us for our ninth annual celebration featuring free food for students with ID and activities galore. See you there!
Queer I Am Conference
November 17-18, 2017 at Clark College. Queer I Am creates a liberating space in education that engages Queer individuals and their many communities in developing a sense of belonging and pride in Queer culture. This Summit is a collaborative project of regional colleges, community organizations, educators, students, and organizers. We are proud to invite you to join us for a summit by the people for the people! Interested individuals, please contact Juliette Kern by July 28, 2017.
Counseling
Erin Hayden, LMHC, is available to meet with students for personal counseling. She can help support you in dealing with things like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse. She can also help you learn to cope with academic stress, or with difficult life events like a breakup, illness, or death of a loved one. VA Certifying Official
The VA certifying official/L&I analyst is at South Campus in Room C – 104 on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Sustainability Club

Have a 3.5+ GPA?
If you have earned 12 college level credits, with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above, you may be eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society on campus. Keep your eyes on your email for an invitation!

Reduced Cost Dental Clinic
Did you know that Bates has a dental clinic? Located at the Downtown Campus, the clinic is open to private-pay patients and patients with Apple Health Care. Services include new patient exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions. All services are at a reduced fee. Open Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Call 253-680-7310 for an appointment.
