Tournament Tuesday at Central Campus – This Tuesday
Central Campus, Tuesdays, 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Join our weekly tourney where all programs compete for bragging rights. This week we will host another Wii Bowling event so be sure to come and represent your program! Faculty and Staff are eligible for honorary rankings.
ASG General Assembly – This Wednesday
Wednesday, April 20, 2016. 11:30 am – 12:15 pm – Downtown Auditorium. All students welcome, free pizza for students who attend.

Apply For Commencement – Apply before April 28 for reduced price
Class of 2016, did you know you have to apply to walk at the graduation ceremony? Click here for more info. The cost is $22.50 before April 28.
Cap and Gown
If you ordered your cap and gown online, you can pick it up from the student store after May 11. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, you can purchase one from the student store after May 11, while supplies last.
Bates Technical College Open House
College Transfer & Resources Information Fair
May 5, 9:30 am – 1 pm at South Campus
Transferring to a four-year college or university requires a lot of careful planning. The College Transfer & Resources Information Fair can assist you with transfer options, college exploration and the application process. The Open House also features information on services such as healthcare, financial counseling, affordable housing, employment and college funding. Ask for a free lunch ticket at the registration desk during the Open house.

Reduced Cost Dental
Bates has a dental clinic located at the downtown campus. It is open to private pay patients and patients with Apple Health Care. Services include: new patient exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and extractions. All services are at a reduced fee. Open Monday –Thursday, 8 am – 3 pm. Call for an appointment 253-680-7310.

Health Care Scholarship
Spokane CyberKnife, a local cancer center, is currently offering a scholarship of $500 available to all students interested in a career in medicine. The deadline for the application is May 15, 2016. Click here to apply.

Highway Construction/Trades Scholarship
A scholarship designed to assist underserved groups (women, minorities and socially/economically disadvantaged) pursuing training in the following trades: Carpenter, Electrician, Truck Driver, Iron Worker, Laborer and Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Telecommunications Scholarship
Actively seeking students in Telecommunications Trades or Labor Studies Programs for the David Podworny Memorial Scholarship. Available through TWU-USW (Telecommunications Workers – United Steel Workers) Local 1944 Union. Click here to apply. Deadline July 1, 2016.
New Scholarships
These scholarships are open to any high school senior or college student in Washington. He or she must be enrolled at a two-year to five-year institution in 2016. A minimum GPA is not required. To apply, the student will create a short (30–120 second) video and essay.
