What is Satisfactory Academic Progress?

For Federal funding, there are three eligibility criteria that must be met.

  • Pace of Progression (POP)
Students must pass 67% of attempted units/credits
  • Qualitative: Grade Point Average (GPA)
Students must maintain at least a 2.0 minimum cumulative AND quarterly GPA
  • Quantitative: Maximum Timeframe (MTF)
Students must complete a whole degree within 150% of the units/credits required for graduation

For Washington State funding, there are two eligibility criteria that must be met.

  • Qualitative: Grade Point Average (GPA)
Students must maintain at least a 2.0 minimum cumulative AND quarterly GPA
  • Minimum Credit Completion (MCC)
