1. Apply to Bates Tech
All prospective Running Start students must first apply to Bates Technical College. When completing the application, select Running Start under “I will be enrolling as a…” to ensure you receive the correct next steps.
2. Connect with a Career Advisor
Contact Kevin Kildun, our Running Start Career Advisor, to discuss eligibility, explore available programs and learn about the next steps in the enrollment process.
3. Meet with Your Home High School Counselor
Meet with your high school counselor to discuss Running Start and review your remaining high school graduation requirements. Your counselor will help determine which college courses may count for dual credit and complete and sign the counselor/administrator section of your Enrollment Verification Form (EVF).
4. Enroll in Classes with Your Advisor
