Public forums scheduled for KBTC executive director and general manager finalists

TACOMA, Wash. – The public is invited to attend open forums for three finalists for the position of Executive Director and General Manager of KBTC.
The forums will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Downtown Campus Auditorium, 1101 S. Yakima Avenue, in Tacoma. KBTC, a PBS affiliate, is operated as a service of Bates Technical College.
The forum schedule is as follows:
- 12:30 p.m., Chris Hays, Currently the Vice President of Communications and Marketing and CEO/General Manager, Panhandle PBS (KACV-TV) in Amarillo, Texas
- 1:15 p.m., DeAnne Hamilton, Most recently the Interim Executive Director, PublicSource, Pittsburgh, Pa.
- 2 p.m., Jack Neal, Currently the Executive Director, Radio-TV Center/General Manager, WEIU-TV/FM, Charleston, Ill.
