Give blood. Save a life.

Give blood. Save a life.

Did you know that donating just one pint of blood can save up to three lives, according to the American Red Cross. In an effort to help collect more of this life-saving fluid, Bates Technical College’s Practical Nurse program will host a blood drive on Thursday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m in the Downtown Campus Auditorium with Cascade Regional Blood Services.

Blood donors can sign up for an appointment in the Practical Nurse area (DT Room- E212) but drop-in’s are also welcome. Donors must be 18 year or older.

Be sure to eat a substantial meal and drink plenty of water before donating. If you have questions about eligibility or what you should also know before you donate, visit the Cascade Blood Services website.
