Northwest Now takes a closer look at the Black Panther Party

Posted: February 11, 2016

February is Black History Month, and PBS will be showing a documentary about the Black Panther Party movement in the 1960s. On Friday’s edition of Northwest Now, we take a closer look at the Black Panther party and how it influenced today’s civil rights movement. You’ll hear from a former member of the party, as well as those who are involved in today’s civil rights movement.

Northwest Now is a weekly public affairs program that you can watch every Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m. on KBTC.
