Northwest Now program focuses on Puyallup's growing homeless population

Posted: July 06, 2016

While it’s a growing problem in cities like Seattle, homelessness is not just a problem for big cities anymore.

On Friday’s edition of Northwest Now, host Tom Layson heads to Puyallup, where the city is facing a homeless crisis of its own. You’ll hear from Puyallup Mayor Jon Hopkins, Sen. Bruce Dammeier, and Rep. Hans Zieger about what they think should be done about this growing problem.

The Emmy and Telly Award-winning public affairs series Northwest Now airs Fridays at 7:30 p.m. on KBTC Public Television, a service of Bates Technical College.
