New resources added to library

LearningExpress Library, one of Bates’ Library’s most versatile academic databases, has been enhanced with new resources in areas that provide value to Career Training and general education (academic) students: 

• eBooks: The eBook collection has been enhanced with Medical Assistant Flash Review, MCAT®: Power Practice, and new editions of Firefighter Exam, and College Placement Math Success in 20 Minutes a Day.
• College Preparation Center: New ACT and AP Practice Tests covering English, reading, math, and science. Students preparing for the New 2016 SAT will get new practice tests for the Reading, Writing and Language, Math, and Essay test sections on February 1.
• Career Center: New practice exams available for Applied Technology and Business Writing, with two exams each.
• School Center:  A new high school reading tutorial aligned to the Common Core State Standards.
