KBTC’s Northwest Now focuses on how to spot and combat fake news

Fake news is real. Whether it’s on social media or in a respected newspaper, misinformation seems to be popping up everywhere. The other side to the problem is how do you identify what’s real and what’s fake, and some who call it fake news because it contradicts political and or social beliefs. We sit down with an expert from the University of Washington to discuss how to see through the fake news clutter.
