Posted: November 06, 2019

So far in 2019, 22 people have died in Tacoma as the result of gun violence, representing the highest rate of gun deaths since 2006.

In this edition of Northwest Now, we sit down with Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards and Police Chief Don Ramsdell to discuss the recent rash of violence in Tacoma — and what can be done about it. We’ll also hear from community activists who are dedicating their time and talents to help put a stop to the violence in their community.
