Friday's Northwest Now focuses on immigration reform
Posted: January 09, 2015
Last November, President Obama issued a controversial executive order to reform some of the problems facing our nation’s immigration policies.
Friday at 7:30 p.m., KBTC’s Northwest Now, will take a closer look at what this move means for thousands of undocumented immigrants living here in the Northwest, including a Mt. Vernon student who says the president’s executive order directly affected him.
Plus, we’ll hear from a member of the Washington Policy Center on why that organization is opposed to the President’s plan, and an immigration attorney will weigh in on why she thinks the president’s executive order is long overdue.
Northwest Now is a weekly public affairs program that airs every Friday night at 7:30 p.m. right here on KBTC.
