Establish a Scholarship
Endowed and annual scholarships ensure that all students have an opportunity to achieve their educational goals regardless of their financial circumstances.
As state and federal financial assistance declines, Foundation scholarships become even more important to students. The process is simple and means so much! A memorial scholarship is also a wonderful tribute to honor a loved one.
Attend a Special Event or Support a Fundraising Campaign
Bates Sizzles is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event. This event features appetizers by our own Culinary Arts students, a sumptuous dinner, a live auction and music. You can support this event by attending, encouraging others to purchase tickets, making donations to our live auction or becoming a sponsor.

Volunteer
Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of any non-profit! As an office of two, we depend on volunteers to help us advance our mission and goals. We need your help for the following: Scholarship Review Committee, “Back to Bates” Alumni Committee, fundraising campaigns and events (Bates Sizzles and the Scholarship Luncheon), donor development and stewardship, and recruitment of members of the Foundation Board of Directors. Thank you!
Pledges
Pledges allow you to contribute with payments spread over a period of time. Reminders will be sent to you on a schedule that you determine.
Make a Contribution to our Emerging Needs Fund
The Foundation’s Emerging Needs Fund is an unrestricted fund that is used to support our greatest need at the time. Your donations may help with our Student Success Fund for emergency assistance, College Success Fund for special projects related to programs or faculty professional development, or Foundation administrative services.
In-Kind Gift
Many of our career pathways are highly specialized and require state-of-the-art equipment to keep current with industry standards. If you have a donation you think will benefit one of our programs or have questions about our specific needs, please contact us.
