About the Foundation

Student success is at the heart of everything we do.

For more than 80 years, Bates Technical College has been a leader in hands-on education in Pierce County. Our classroom settings mirror the workplace, and provide students with opportunities to practice and develop skills required for successful employment.

To support the college, students and the community, the Bates Technical College Foundation was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Gifts to the Foundation allow us to fulfill our mission by funding student scholarships for tuition books, tools and supplies, college initiative, program support and faculty and staff professional development.

Gifts to the Bates Technical College Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent of Internal Revenue Service regulations. FEIN # 94-3165935
