HVAC151 - OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program

The OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in general industry. Specifically devised for foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. Upon completion, students will be issued an OSHA 30 card. Additional training in Refrigeration Handling and Safety Practices.

Outcomes

  1. Accurately identify health hazards and adhere to all related safety policies and procedures in the construction industry.
  2. Accurately list workers’ rights, employers responsibilities and proper documentation.
  3. Following OSHA standards, obtain and follow safety data sheets for fire protection/prevention and the handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
  4. Properly identify and list the work-related incident/illness prevention programs, and processes.
  5. Properly identify hazards associated with use of ladders and stairways, confined spaces, cranes and hoists.
  6. Safely and accurately operate powered vehicles, hand tools, lifts and mechanical equipment
  7. Select and use proper Personnel Protection and Life Saving Equipment per OSHA Standards.
