The Bates Technical College Commencement for 2026 will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome. Doors at the Tacoma Dome will open at 5 p.m. for student and guest arrival. Parking will be $20 – $ 30.

Important Information:

  • Early Application Deadline: Apply for commencement by Wednesday, April 29, to secure the $38 application fee. Please Note: After you apply, please allow three business days for the fee to post to your account.  Pay the fee online in ctcLink or by reaching out to our Cashier at 253.680.7018, or online via phone or desktop. 
  • Late Application Fee: After Thursday, April 30, the fee increases to $48.
  • Applications must be received by Wednesday, April 29 to appear in the printed program.

Graduates: Please order your cap, gown, and regalia using the website below. Make sure to select “Student Ship to Home” from the drop down menu.

Important: To ensure delivery in time for commencement, orders must be placed by
Friday, May 8, 2026.
