Most degrees at Bates require completion of 15 or more credits in college-level courses in Human Relations, Communications and Math. Some programs may have additional requirements. Offered at all three of our campuses and online, these courses complement your industry-specific skills training.
Bates offers courses that are generally transferable to other colleges, including those under the Washington 45 agreement. These courses are open to any student, even if you do not intend to earn your degree at Bates. Bates offers all of the prerequisite courses you need to enter the practical nursing and occupational therapy assistant program.
