Free adult clinic provides essential dental services and supports hands-on student learning.

Rising costs and limited access can put essential oral healthcare out of reach for many. To help bridge the gap, Bates Technical College’s Dental Assisting and Denturist programs will host a free dental clinic on Friday, July 24, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Downtown Campus, 1201 South Yakima Avenue in Tacoma.

Licensed dentists will provide exams, X-rays, extractions and fillings. Denture and partial repairs will be available through the Denturist program. The clinic is open to individuals ages 18 and older and will operate on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.

This event provides community members with access to essential dental care while supporting hands-on learning opportunities for the college’s students preparing for careers in dental healthcare.
