Are you a current student or interested in enrolling summer or fall quarters? If so, then read on for important FAFSA dates to help you stay on track to reach your educational goals.

Summer Quarter financial aid

2020-21 financial aid applications for Summer Quarter due before June 30

If you are attending or enrolling in Summer Quarter, your 2020-21 aid application must be completed before June 30, 2021.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA) at Federal Student Aid or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).
  • If you need assistance, please visit STEP 3 of our Steps to Enrollment page or visit the new Virtual Student Services lobby (available on our Student Resources page).
  • If you have completed your aid application, you can view your awards or notifications by going to MyBates> Quick Links> Financial Aid Portal. Your user ID is your social security number and your password is your date of birth in a 6-digit or 5-digit format. Example: mmddyy or mddyy.

Fall Quarter financial aid

2021-22 financial aid applications for Fall Quarter are OPEN

Fall Quarter aid applications are currently OPEN. The Fall Quarter 2021 is the beginning of a new academic year and students must submit a new financial aid application every year. Please apply as soon as possible so the Financial Aid Office can determine your awards for the entire 2021-22 academic year.
