Welcome, get started on your journey.
It’s now time to complete the process to become a registered student here at Bates. Whether you are a New, Transfer, or Returning student we will help you through the next steps below to become an official Bobcat!
Choose Your Program and Career Pathway
Selecting your Program is one of your first big decisions to make as a Bates student. If you are still exploring Program options, explore all possibilities on our Career Pathways webpage or meet with a Career Advisor. Certain Programs, such as Practical Nursing and Occupation Therapy Assistant (OTA), may require an additional application.
Orientation is your road map to a successful transition to Bates Tech. All new students attend New Student Orientation to learn about student resources, meet your support team, and explore experiences that will help you reach your educational goals.
Access ctcLink and Review Your Classes
ctcLink offers a central location to manage and track your educational journey. Find and register for classes, pay tuition and fees, update personal details, check your degree progress, and more.
Get Your Bates Student ID
Bring a form of your government issued ID to the Bates Registration Office at the Downtown or South Campus to obtain your new Student ID Card with your updated ctcLink Student ID#.
Set Up Your Bates Email
Access to a college email account allows students to work collaboratively, communicate with peers and faculty, receive class assignments and other information from instructors electronically, and directly receive information regarding financial aid, scholarships and other relevant areas from college departments. Also, those who enroll in Bates online courses will need to check their Bates email after registering to obtain instructions for their online course.
Bookstore Info: We have a physical location and a virtual option to address all your needs.
