The Culinary Arts program prepares students for a rewarding, fast-paced career in the commercial food, and restaurant management industry. Bates offers the only American Culinary Federation (ACF) accredited culinary arts degree and certificate program in the region. Graduates of the associate degree program will be Certified Culinarians (CC) through the ACF.

The Education and Human Services programs combine learned theories and practical lab experiences to teach students how to create and implement learning experiences, build positive relationships and apply developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our Early Childhood Education program offers hands-on training and prepares students for a rewarding career educating young children. Through the college’s continuing education department, individuals can earn a career and technical education certificate at the secondary level, grades 7-12.
